A few blog posts ago I said that I had some news that I'd be soon sharing with you. I left it vague on purpose because I thought maybe a few people would get excited and think I was prego... I'm not hahaha tricked you!
My news was that I was going to go back to school. I was accepted and got a scholarship to Eastern Washington University and was going to study French. I say "was" because as school got closer and closer I started feeling like going back to school right then wasn't right for me.
So, instead of going back to school I started job searching and I got a new job! I have now been working almost two months at Horizon Middle School where I am a behavior intervention technician. To put the job in a nut shell - I work with 6th and 7th grade boys who have behavior problems in the classroom. It is a very hard job but rewarding in that I get to use my bachelors degree, I get to help people, and I have great coworkers.
Other activities in our life lately include backpacking to Pyramid Lake in Idaho, climbing at Minnehaha Park with the Barksdale's, dressing up as Pikachu and Ash for Halloween, picking pumpkins at Greenbluff, dressing up as bikers and walking around the mall so the youth from Church could try and find us, and going to various snow events because we are getting excited to go skiing and snowboarding this winter.
Bud: Caleb and I are going to Fielding for Thanksgiving!
Thorn: My messy house, my lack of ambition to clean the house, or make dinner. Basically I don't wanna do grown up stuff right now. Bla.
