January and February 2014

It's been awhile hasn't it? I haven't had any blog worthy ideas in awhile but my sister told me today that I needed to get back on the wagon. So here are a bunch of pictures of life.

First off, we went to Utah! Our flight was early and we didn't sleep much. We look great when we travel on zero sleep, no?

I saw my wonderful family!

I got to see my adorable little niece! She gets cuter and cuter each time I see her!

It was such a great vacation. It was hard to come back to Washington. Since getting back to Washington we have....

Gone snowshoeing! We got a tax refund this year (which is nice since we paid $$$$ the last two years) and we have already used it for good things :) We now have snow shoes and I am excited to start our new winter hobby!

We celebrated the Olympics by dressing up as our favorite Olympians. I am Tara Lipinski and Caleb is Apollo Anton Ono.

I made Valentines for my kids at work. Valentines day hasn't been this fun in years! I attached a pencil and glow stick to my Valentine and wrote "Hope your day is B-write Valentine!" The kids didn't get it, but I think it's clever :)

Caleb and I have continued our work with the Adaptive Ski and Snowboard program at Mt. Spokane. We are helping kids and adults with physical disabilities learn how to ski. It's a blast! This session I am working with a blind boy. His courage is amazing! Can you imagine skiing with no sight?

I've continued cooking from my Pinterest boards. We made this Friday night. Nutella stuffed french toast with strawberries on top!

Annnnndddd I got sick! I had a cold for four weeks and finally went to the doctor. I had a sinus infection and an ear infection. Along with this I got the flu one day :( The pic on the left is the bed Caleb made for me right by the bathroom and on the right you see me trying to eat a bowl of soup. I'm especially sad that I got sick the night after eating really good hummus. I can't bare the thought of eating hummus again for awhile.

Alright that is life right now.

Rose: My antibiotics are working and I haven't had to use nasal spray for the last three nights in order to breathe during the night.
Bud: I have exciting news for next year but I don't feel like talking about it yet. Stay posted.
Thorn: I turn 24 this week. I don't like even numbers and this song will no longer apply to me. Sad day.

(There are streakers in this video. Don't watch if you're a grown up...or my mom[love you mom!!])

  1. About Time! I feel like the day that song no longer applies to you, will be like the day Soco Ameretto Lime by Brand New no longer applied to me. Also, you and Calebs Olympic dress up thing was definitely a win!
